Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic form of yoga developed by K. Pattabhi Jois in the 1940s. This practice offers numerous benefits, including increased muscle strength, flexibility and endurance, as well as stronger breathing muscles. Mentally, Ashtanga Yoga promotes concentration and clarity, reduces stress and improves the connection between body and mind.

The structured practice supports discipline and self-confidence and can lead to personal growth. At Mindful Life Berlin, the asanas are performed in fixed series and in accordance with your breathing rhythm. 

During the first sequence (Primary Series), which is the focus of our classes, you will be guided into the asanas with clear instructions and learn how to perform them correctly. Over time, you will get to know a large part of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga, which strengthens both your physical and mental strength and endurance.
