Yoga in the morning is not only intended for athletic influencers in chic workout. They are practical tools that cost less time than your coffee and longer than double espresso.

Why we are often energy -free in the morning: understand the causes of morning tiredness

The phenomenon is called “drunkenness”. Your brain is awake, but it still works half in sleep mode. This usually takes 15–30 minutes, but can extend to hours if there is a lack of sleep.

Your body temperature also plays in. It sinks off at night and takes time in the morning to get up again. The colder your body, the less energy you have.

Cortisol, often referred to as “stress hormone”, should rise in the morning and get you going. But with disturbed sleep rhythm or chronic stress, this cycle gets out of balance.

How yoga in the morning your energy is targeted

Yoga in the morning for more energy combines movement, breathing control and mindfulness - a perfect formula for morning fatigue.

Dynamic yoga poses stimulate blood circulation, increase the body temperature and get your system going faster. Deep breathing techniques ( pranayama exercises against fatigue ) increase oxygen absorption, stimulate the vagus nerve and balance your nervous system.

Certain attitudes in the (hormone) yoga have a direct impact on your endocrine system: reversal and heart opener rain thyroid and adrenal functions, which in turn stabilizes your cortisol level. In our article about hormone yoga, you will also learn how to permanently overcome your morning tiredness with hormone yoga , conscious movement and targeted breathing techniques.
